Republican Theatre of Belarusian Drama

The structure part of the theater is the Belarusian Drama Centre, which organizes internships, workshops, seminars, cycles of other measures aimed at providing practical and methodological assistance to budding creators. The center is one of the experimental stages of creative fields, where can be realized the potential of the young playwright or director. Theatre School has already about four dozen authors. Along with the production of plays by Belarusian authors, theater artists put the play of world drama in the Belarusian language.

The influx of new creative forces in the theatrical troupe made the theater a favorite of the Minsk youth and the older generation of theater-goers. The theater has more than 30 talented actors who have a bright creative individuality and high level of professionalism. A small, cozy room of the theater helps the actors to have a close contact with the audience empathize with what is happening on stage. To date, th theater has 27 repertory productions that make a wide range of genres and styles, exciting audiences of all ages. Theatre organizes festive events, exhibitions, presentations, discussions and musical evenings, which extends for fans of theatrical art palette of creative proposals of the collective.

M. Gorky National Academic Drama Theater

The history of the theater has its roots in the beginning of the 30s of the last century, when in Bobruisk in 1932 on the basis of the troupe of itinerant actors opened the State Russian Drama Theatre of the BSSR.

Belarusian State Youth Theatre celebrated its 30th anniversary. At the beginning of the creative way, the troupe rehearsed in the various houses of culture and clubs, foreign scenes.
