Il castello di Nesvizh dalla fama mondiale

Il complesso di palazzo e castello di Nesvizh è uno dei più belli e dei più famosi in Belarus. La sua straordinaria architettura e l’insieme dei giardini rappresentano un valore storico e culturale per il paese, e non a caso nel 2006 il sito fu aggiunto alla lista del Patrimonio Mondiale dell’UNESCO.

Il primo posto nella lista delle attrazioni turistiche gratuite di carattere storico e artistico occupano i castelli di Belarus che impressionano con una curiosa combinazione degli elementi architettonici e costruttori più vari, dei dettagli appartenenti a diversi stili ed epoche, e in virtù di ciò presentano un grande interesse non solo per gli appassionati di storia e cultura ma assolutamente per tutti.

Church of Saints Simon and Helena (Red Church)

Church of St. Simeon and St. Helen or Red Church - an architectural monument of Gothic with elements of Art Nouveau. Built in 1905-10 years on Independence Square in the modern means of a landowner Edward Voinilovich in memory of his dead children too early. Architects were B. Marconi, G. Poyazdersky .

Saint Sophia Cathedral in Polotsk

St. Sophia Cathedral in the ancient town of Polotsk does not look like other Eastern Orthodox churches of the same name. It is one of the oldest temples constructed by Eastern Slavonic peoples and the first church built from stone on the territory of Belarus.

Holy Martyr Grand Princess Elizabeth Convent

Named after the Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna of Russia (1864-1918), a granddaughter of Queen Victoria who was arrested and thrown down a mineshaft by the Bolsheviks soon after the October Revolution.

Holy Spirit Cathedral in Minsk

One of the most visible churches in Minsk, with its central location overlooking the Svisloch river in the historic Upper Town, the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit is the most important Russian Orthodox church in the city. Its origins date back to the 17th century when the building served as a Catholic Bernardine monastery.

A unique monument of neo-gothic architecture of the 19th century is situated in the Belarusian town of Kossovo. The Palace of the Puslovskys, or Kossovo Castle, has been nicknamed "knights’ dream" for its fairy-tale-like appearance and splendor.

Il Palazzo Tyzenhauz

La cittadina Postawy è conosciuta dal 1552 come un insediamento privato. Nella seconda metà del XVIII secolo ne fu proprietario Antonio Tyzenhauz. Su sua iniziativa vi furono costruite alcune fabbriche, un mulino, un’officina di lavorazione dei pellami e un complesso architettonico residenziale.

La chiesa di San Nicola (Logojsk)
