The Night of Museums.

Every year the 18th of May is a special day, a day when museums all over the world celebrate their professional holiday. Till morning visitors are free to enter museums and enjoy their entertaining festive programs. Minsk museums are not the exception and they also join this international initiative to show the potential of modern museums. Special excursions, performances, exhibitions are prepared by Belarusian museum for their comers on this day.

International Film Festival “Listapad”.

This event, popular among the cinema devotees, is held annually in November in Minsk. The program of Minsk IFF comprises Feature Films Competition, Documentary Films Competition and Children and Youth Films Competition “Listapadzik” and claims to support cinema, maintain its high social cultural and social status and develop international cultural ties. Films produced in Baltic and Central-Asian countries, Central and Eastern Europe and Russia can be watched by cinema lovers during the festival.
